At The Driving Force School of Motoring, we want you get you on the road as quickly as possible, but not before you have learned all the skills required to be a safe and intelligent driver.
We take great pride in the calm, patient support that we provide our learner drivers with, so that you feel comfortable to ask questions and acquire skills quickly. Our pass rates are also above both local and national averages too - so whether you are driving for the very first time, or wish to have refresher lessons, let us help you upon your way.

Gareth has spent his entire working life in the world of education. First as a teacher and now as a driving instructor
Being 'time-served' in education means that he will ensure your lessons will be carefully planned, progressive and take full account of all the needs you have on your driving development. He will also provide you with the support needed to pass the theory test, hazard perception test and the main driving standards test.
Whether you are confident, nervous or anywhere in-between, you can be sure that we will support you throughout your learning journey in a relaxed environment.

The car you will be driving...
You will be learning to drive in a 2024 model Hyundai i10 1.2 Premium. A car that is easy to drive, yet great fun and feature packed. It contains all the features you would wish for when learning to drive, including:

Gareth has been absolutely incredible! He was so patient with me and would never get irritated when I made a mistake, instead taking the time to explain and help me understand what went wrong and how I would fix the errors made.
He always remained professional and communicated any schedule changes as soon as he could. He is still, however, very friendly and extremely easy to talk to - making driving lessons enjoyable and much less stressful. I couldn't recommend him enough if you're looking to start driving!
